I HAVE BEEN SO LUCKY TO GET TO PLAY WITH THE FABULOUS NEW CD ROMS FROM CRAFTERS COMPANION..........PAWFECT PALS AND SWALK DIGI STAMP. THATS RIGHT SWALK DIGI STAMP!!!!

 

OH MY GOODNESS I HAVE HAD THE BEST FUN PLAYING WITH THESE CD ROMS, I'M SO LUCKY AND THEY ARE SO EASY TO USE WITH SUCH FABULOUS IMAGES.

 

WHEN I GOT THEM I JUST HAD TO LOOK AT EVERYTHING ON THEM AND THERE IS SO MUCH, LOTS OF LOVELY GOREGOUS IMAGES, SENTIMENTS, LAY OUTS, DECOUPAGE, TOPPERS, BORDERS AND SO MUCH MORE.

 

THE COLOURS ARE FABULOUS AND I CAN USE EVERY IMAGE AS THEY REMIND ME OF PEOPLE I KNOW

 

THEY WILL BE ON CREATE AND CRAFT CHANNEL THIS FRIDAY 16TH NOV FROM MID DAY. YOU WILL LOVE THEM.

THIS CARD IS MADE FROM THE PAWFECT CD USING COMPANION 2. I LOVE THAT EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS PRINTED OF ON THE ONE SHEET, FRAME.TOPPER,BOWS,FLOWERS,BUTTONS,SENTIMENT, AND I LOVE THAT THERE ARE MATCHING BACKING PAPERS, LOVE IT.

THIS CARD IS FROM PAWFECT PALS CD USING DECOUPAGE 2. SUCH A FABULOUS IMAGE, SO CUTE, YOU GET SO MANY SENTIMENTS AND I LOVE THE BUKLE BORDERS THAT YOU CAN PRINT OFF, I CUT MINE TO FIT THE PAGE AND THEN USED THE LEFT OVER BITS TO PUT IN THE CORNERS.

 

 

I ADDES GLOSSY ACCENTS TO HER HAIR, THE BALL AND THE SENTIMENT

 

 

THIS IS FROM PAWFECT PALS TOPPER 2. SUCH CUTE IMAGE THAT EVERY LITTLE GIRL WILL LOVE. NO COLOURING NEEDED, ITS ALL DONE FOR YOU, THE BUTTONS AND SENTIMENTS ARE ALL PRINTED FROM THE SAME SHEET.

I MADE THE FLOWERS FROM CORE'DINATION CARD STOCK

 

 

 I EMBOSS MY FLOWERS AND LEAVES USING THE EMBOSSALICIOUS FLOWER FRENZY FOLDER FROM CRAFTERS COMPANION. I ADDED SOME DIAMONDS JUST TO ADD A BIT OF BLING.

 

 

 

THIS IS THE CARD I MADE. I USED SOME DIFFERENT PATTERN PAPERS TO MAKE THEM AND I USED THE WASTE FROM THE DIE TO MAKE THE BORDERS

 



 

I CUT THE CENTRE OUT OF THE CARD AND ARRANGED THE FLOWERS AROUND IT, I ADDED SOME PALE PINK SPIDER WEB AND PIECES OF CREAM RIBBON IN BETWEEN THE ROSES, ALSO ADDED THE FABULOUS LEAVES AND SOME PEARLS TO FINISH OF THE CARD

 

 

I PLACED A SINGLE FLOWER IN THE CENTRE SO THAT YOU COULD SEE IT ON THE OUTSIDE WHEN CLOSED AND INKED THE EDGES OF THE CARD.

 

 

THIS IS A CLOSE UP OF THE ROSES, I ADDED SOME SPRAY AND SHINE TO THEM AND SOME PEARLS.

Crafters Companion Nov Challenge

CRAFTERS COMPANION NOV CHALLENGE

FAVE COLOUR COMBO

A big Hello to all my wonderful followers and Thank you for taking the time to pop over and look at my blog.

This month, Crafters Companion is holding its November Challenge and its called FAVE COLOUR COMBO.

Each Design Team member has design a card in their favourite colours, so I hope you get a chance to go and see them all, as they are gorgeous.

I found it very hard as I love all colours and I love to try different styles, but for this one I went with Humprey Decoupage and used the colours from that, BLUE and WHITE.

I used Centura Pearl card stock and I made a A5 card, I used distress ink to add some blue to it. I used Blue Core'dinations card stock to cut the dies. I used Die'sire Lace border 8 to edge the top and bottom of the card, Die'sire Leaf 2 to make the swirls behind the topper, Humprey Xmas Decoupage Collection to make the topper www.crafterscompanion.co.uk. The other dies are Spellbinders,
As you can see, I do like a bit of bling so I like to add some glitter to my cards, I added some dots of glitter to the card to make a background and edged all the the dies to make them stand out.
A quick and easy card to make.

Army Card

ARMY CARD

CARD FOR A 8 YEAR OLD

This is a card I made for my friends little boy who loves the army. I asked her for a photo of him in his army outfit that I printed it out and mounted on Gold mirri card. I had some orange card card so I got some inks , Ivy/coffee bean and rust, I stamp them on the card to get the effect I wanted, I matt and layered them up along with some Spider web that I inked with the Ivy ink.

New Dies From Crafters Companion

FABULOUS NEW DIES FROM CRAFTERS COMPANION

WOW WOW WOW LOVE THESE DIES

CRAFTERS COMPANION

 

 

Once again I got some fabulous Die'sire Dies to play with from the amazing Crafters Companion. There are 5 in total that I got, LEAF SWIRLS, TAGS 1, LACE BORDER 8, LACE BORDER 9 AND ROMANIC SONG FRAME.

 

They are high quality dies and have the little holes to help you release them, They have great details in the Dies, The ROMANTIC SONG FRAME die is two dies  but you get three designs from it, The fancy frame has lovely detail and design on it, The middle part cuts out so you can stamp or print a image on it and then you have a fancy frame that you can use for sentiments.

The TAGS 1  has 6 dies in the packet, 3 oval and 3 rectangles, they can be stack on one another and are great sizes.

The LEAF SWIRLS are stunning and you get two in the packet which is lovely as you can use both designs at once.

The LACE BORDERS 8&9 are fantastic and full of detail, brilliant for making borders and I love all the amazing designs you can make with them.

This first card I used the LACE BORDER 9 and the LEAF SWIRL die

 

 

I cut the SWIRL in half to make a different shape

 

This is the fabulous ROMANTIC SONG FRAME dies, I printed a image from Mulberry Wood.  CD used the die to cut it out along with Centura pearl card stock for the frame, It cut throught both in one cut

 

This is a 8in x 8in I emboss some Mirri card with my Floral Frenzy Embossalicous folder. The image is from Mulberry Woods CD and I mounted it on mirri board, I cut two LACE BORDER 8  in two pieces, I placed ribbon across the centre of the card and then placed the borders on either side of the ribbon to make a large border. I added some glitter and dark red ribbon. It reminds me of chocolates but I don't  know why, lol.

 

This is the TAGS 1 and, this is the middle size die. The flower is made from the Mulberry Wood CD , I just shaped it and added spray and shine

 

This is the LEAF SWIRL DIE , its a great size and you can cut it if you wish to. The flower is made in the same way as above.

 

This is the inside of the card. Its a side stepper card

Vintage Bingo Card

VINTAGE BINGO CARD

VINTAGE BINGO

 

 

I was asked to make a  bingo card for a friends mum, well I don't really know her mum so I decided to make two cards, One vintage and the other was a bit of fun, I showed my friend both cards and she said that her Mum would love the humour one.

 

I decided to show you both as my vintage one is a bit different but I hope you like it.

 

I drew a bingo page myself, I aged the paper with distress inks. I used glitter glue for the Bingo sign and Gold Candi (from Craftwork Cards) to put on the numbers, (You can tell I don't play Bingo as I don't know the correct terms for it lol) I used card stock from Kanban Crafts and aged it. I added flexi peel offs from Pinflair Crafts  around the edge of the card.

 

 

The tag I used from Craftwork cards, I aged it and mounted it on mirri card, I wrote Mum in glitter and added some pearls and some ribbon, I added glitter to the hat pins. And made a bow.

 

The bingo I glittered as I wanted it to stand out on the card

 

 

This is the other card that my friend wanted. I do love these images, It is from a collection called "Golden Oldies" from Hunkydory.

 

So easy to make and I love making Decoupage cards

 

Added a sentiment and added pearl liquid to it

New Home Card

 

NEW HOME CARD (BIRDHOUSE)

CRAFTWORK CARDS AMAZING SHAPE CARDS

NEW HOME/BIRD HOUSE

 

 

I saw these shape cards from the amazing Craftwork cards and I fell in love with them. They are such fun to work with and I love that you can use them for so many different occassions. 

 

I used the Bohemian papers (birdcage) Candi and mini flowers also from Craftwork cards. They are such soft gorgeous colours and I love the chic look you get from them.

I drew around the shape of the card onto the paper and drew the circle and i cut it out very carefully as I wanted to use it for the inside of the card.

 

 

I stuck the paper to the front and then 

I inked the edges of the card with lavender ink just to soften the edges, I added some glitter to the flowers and the bottom of the card, just to make them stand out. The leaves are hat pins and I added some lace that I inked with the lavender and some beautiful bold pink ribbon that I folded and glued to make the roof

 

 

For the inside of the card I inked around the edges to soften it and match it in with the outside, I used the Bohemian paper to make the sentiment and used the Candi to frame it
